Dopo una breve pausa, con il secondo sabato di marzo si ricomincia con le attivita' dei KIDS CLUB.
I kids club sono dedicati ai bambini orfani e/o vulnerable and / or affected by HIV AIDS that followed dall'Allamano Centre. Each

at 9:30 in the morning we meet all (children, an adult volunteer who makes a point of reference in the district, two trainers and a center manager Allam) in the school district . The training time takes about 30 minutes.
The manual used by the trainers is part of the guidelines developed by the Tanzanian government with the support of several national and international NGOs that aim to provide training and information to children on issues of HIV AIDS.

Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano 2009

The Italian bank "Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano" support orphans
By Simbaya correspondent Friday, Iringa.
The Italian Bank "Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano" has donated about € 40,415.48 to Vulnerable children and people living with HIV AIDS (PLWHA) here.
The money, meant to support food programme in Iringa Municipality was channelled through Allamano Centre of Consolata Sisters.
The bank called "Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano", collects money from different donors and gives it to the needy in Africa through the programme dubbed Happy Banking.
According to Allamano Centre Sr. Michela Astegiano the money would be spent to buy food for orphans, vulnerable children and people living with HIV AIDS.
She said the centre is taking care of 4.000 orphans and vulnerable children, out of whom 450 qre HIV positive. The children are also given education support such as school uniforms and books.

Oggi ci è arrivata una e mail dall'Associazione Per il sorriso di un bambino di Firenze che ci comunica che Il Consiglio direttivo dell'associazione ha deciso di collaborare con l'Allamano centre supportando l'attività di distribuzione dei kit di supporto alimentare per i bambini affetti da HIV AIDS e per bambini di età compresa tra i 0 e i 2 anni con segni di malnutrizione.
Il finanziamento è di 11.000 euro con i quali sarà possibile acquistare e distribuire 350 kit per bambini affetti da HIV AIDS e 72 kit per bambini malnutriti.

Il kit standard è composto da:

6 Kg. di farina di mais
4 Kg. di fagioli
1Kg. di farina di legumi
1 Kg. di zucchero
250 gr. di sale
mezzo ltro di olio di girasole
300 gr. di burro di arachidi.

Il costo per ogni singolo kit è di circa 18.000 scellini tanzani (tzshs) che al cambio attuale corrispondono a circa 10 euro l'uno.

Tutti prodotti sono acquistati da piccoli produttori locali o da ex pazienti del centro.
