A nice Christmas present

last week we received a wonderful Christmas gift.
An email sent from Italy by Irene and Laura informed us that their group of friends decided to give added meaning to the celebration of Christmas by collecting and sending money to use for its projects Allamano (about 1500 €).

Negli ultimi 2 anni abbiamo potuto raccogliere globalmente 1575 euro.
Il denaro raccolto é servito all'acquisto di attrezzature e reagenti per il laboratorio di analisi e per finanziare un sistema di borse di studio per permettere agli orfani dei pazienti del centro a continuare gli studi.
Per chi non fosse a conoscenza di questa piccola iniziativa, il centro Allamano é una struttura che si occupa di formazione, prevenzione, assistenza medica e sociale per persone sieropositive, ammalati di AIDS e per le loro famiglie.
Da poco hanno inaugurato un blog in italiano con lo scopo di presentare le loro attività: http://allamanocentre.blogspot.com/ Inoltre, siamo a vostra disposizione per fornire notizie più dettagliate sull’attività the Centre or on-going projects.
